About CIDEREU
CIDEREU is a European project developed within Cider Cities to safeguard, promote and share the intangible cultural heritage associated with apples and cider. It approaches this heritage as a living culture shared by communities and rural territories.
Objectives and areas of work
- Safeguard and communicate intangible cultural heritage.
- Engage young people and the wider community through education and participation.
- Integrate equality, sustainability and the circular economy.
- Strengthen cooperation among producing territories and apple-growing cultures.
The Foundation’s role
Fundación Asturies XXI contributes its cultural, educational and organisational experience, connecting CIDEREU with the Cider Cities network and the Asturian cider ecosystem.
