Overview
Fototeca LA SIDRA
A historical photographic archive devoted to Asturian cider culture.
Visual memory of cider culture
Fototeca LA SIDRA recovers, digitises, preserves and shares historical photographs, with particular attention to material dating from before 1980. The collection documents orchards, cider houses, rural work, bars, cider pouring and social life.
An open archive
The Fundación Asturies XXI initiative works with families and collectors to digitise, contextualise and preserve original material. Documentary titles and historical data remain in their original form when no authoritative interpretation is available.
