Children have always been protagonists in the First Cider of the Year, wande want to transmit the culture of cider to them and above all, we want them to have a good time. To do this, we have designed a lot of activities thinking about them in which they can participate for free.
APPLE SMASHING
Mashing the apple in the “duernu” and then pressing it to obtain your own apple juice, like real cidermakers, is one of the favorite activities of children.
Then they will share the apple juice they mkade with their families.
TRADITIONAL GAMES AND SPORTS
The frog, the tug of war, the sack races, the key, bowling… the traditional games have been exciting generations and are still fun.
So much so that many times adults are also encouraged to participate.
CIDER POURING WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN
A cider bottle full of water, a glass, some guidance and a little help is all these champions need to get their first kicks… some with more aim than others, but always fun.
There will also be a small pouring contest, in which style and desire will count a lot.
BASKET MANUFACTURING WORKSHOP
Learning something about ancient traditions and jobs while having a good time is an interesting way to pass on ancient knowledge. In this case, the basic technique of making “paxos” (baskets), ideal for picking apples.
